Battery banks come in different voltages. 12V suits small vehicle and RV starter batteries; 24V matches truck and commercial vehicle systems; 48V is the standard for solar energy storage and telecom backup. Offering all three on one platform means the same inverter body can serve a camper van, a long-haul truck, and a 10kWh solar battery wall — simplifying procurement and spare-parts management for distributors.

Why 110V–240V output is configurable

North America runs 110/120V at 60Hz; Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania run 220/230/240V at 50Hz. A configurable output lets one SKU ship to any market, and lets overland travelers power local appliances wherever they are. Output voltage and frequency are set at the factory or via OEM configuration before shipment.

Why THD < 3% is the benchmark for "clean"

Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) measures how far the waveform deviates from a perfect sine. Grid power is typically 2–5% THD. Our pure sine wave output stays under 3%, matching or beating utility power — safe for medical devices, variable-frequency motor drives, and any electronics with active PFC circuits.

Will a 500W inverter run a TV? ▼

Yes. A 32-inch LED TV draws 80–120W, leaving plenty of headroom. You can run a TV, laptop and LED lights simultaneously without issue.

Can it run a mini fridge? ▼

Yes. A mini fridge runs at 80–150W with a startup surge of 300–400W. The SP500W handles the surge easily with its 1000W peak rating.

Is 500W enough for van life? ▼

For the core van-life load — LED lighting, laptop, phone, a small TV, a vent fan and occasional blender use — 500W is a sweet spot. For a microwave, toaster or hair dryer, step up to the SP1000W or SP1500W.

Will it power a blender? ▼

Yes, briefly. Most personal blenders draw 250–350W. The SP500W runs them fine. High-power blenders (600W+) need the SP1000W.

How do I connect it to my battery? ▼

Use the included battery cables, connecting red to positive and black to negative, as close to the battery as possible. For a permanent install, add an inline fuse within 30cm of the battery.

Pure sine vs modified sine — does it matter for a TV? ▼

Yes. Modified-sine inverters can cause buzzing in TV speakers, lines on the screen, and extra heat in the power supply. Pure sine eliminates all of these.

Can I use it with lithium batteries? ▼

Yes. The SP500W works with lead-acid, AGM, gel and LiFePO4 batteries. The low-voltage cutoff at 10.5V is ideal for lead-acid; for lithium, check your BMS cutoff matches.

How efficient is it? ▼

Conversion efficiency is above 88%. Expect roughly 10–12% of your battery energy to be lost as heat during DC-to-AC conversion.

Does it have a remote control option? ▼

The SP500W has a front-panel on/off switch. For remote-switch installations, contact our OEM team — remote switch is available as a configuration option.
