WHY PURE SINE WAVE ?

The Waveform Decides Whether Your Devices Survive

Utility grid power is a pure sine wave. Modified sine wave inverters produce a rough, blocky approximation. That difference is not academic — it determines whether your laptop runs cool, your fridge compressor lasts, and your CPAP motor stays quiet.

BUYING GUIDE

How to Choose the Right Inverter

Not sure whether you need 6000W or a different size? Follow this 4-step guide — and if the SP6000W is not the right fit, we link you to the model that is.
List your devices

Write down every device you want to run simultaneously. Check the nameplate wattage on each.

Add them up

Sum the running watts. Add 2–4x for any device with a motor or compressor (fridge, pump, AC).

Pick the next size up

Choose an inverter whose continuous rating exceeds your total. The SP6000W is right for loads up to 6000W.

Check your battery

Ensure your battery bank can deliver the current. At 6000W, a 12V system draws ~500A; 24V halves it; 48V quarters it.

Why 12V / 24V / 48V input options matter

Battery banks come in different voltages. 12V suits small vehicle and RV starter batteries; 24V matches truck and commercial vehicle systems; 48V is the standard for solar energy storage and telecom backup. Offering all three on one platform means the same inverter body can serve a camper van, a long-haul truck, and a 10kWh solar battery wall — simplifying procurement and spare-parts management for distributors.

Why 110V–240V output is configurable

North America runs 110/120V at 60Hz; Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania run 220/230/240V at 50Hz. A configurable output lets one SKU ship to any market, and lets overland travelers power local appliances wherever they are. Output voltage and frequency are set at the factory or via OEM configuration before shipment.

Why THD < 3% is the benchmark for "clean"

Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) measures how far the waveform deviates from a perfect sine. Grid power is typically 2–5% THD. Our pure sine wave output stays under 3%, matching or beating utility power — safe for medical devices, variable-frequency motor drives, and any electronics with active PFC circuits.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Real answers to the questions buyers ask about the SP300W — from sizing and battery compatibility to OEM customization.

Will a 6000W inverter run a 3‑ton central AC?
Yes. A 3-ton central AC draws about 5000W running with a 9000–11000W startup surge. The SP6000W with its 12000W peak handles it. A 4+ ton unit needs a larger or split inverter system.
Can it run an electric range?
Two burners (3000W) yes. All four burners plus the oven (10000–12000W) no — that exceeds the continuous rating. Most off-grid homes use a gas range for cooking and reserve electric capacity for AC and other loads.
What input voltage is required?
The SP6000W is designed for 48V input only. At 48V the current is 135A at full load — manageable with proper cabling. Lower input voltages are not practical at this power level.
What battery bank do I need?
For a large off-grid estate: a 48V 600–1000Ah LiFePO4 battery bank (29–48kWh) paired with a 12–20kW solar array. This is a serious system — consult a qualified solar system designer for proper sizing, fusing and installation.
Can it run a pool pump?
Yes. A typical pool pump draws 1000–1500W with a moderate startup surge. The SP6000W runs it easily alongside other household loads.
Is it suitable for commercial buildings?
Yes. The SP6000W powers small commercial buildings, offices and retail spaces from a 48V solar battery bank. For larger facilities, multiple units or a three-phase system may be needed — contact our engineering team.
Does it support remote monitoring and communication?
Yes. The SP6000W supports RS485 and optional CAN communication for integration with energy management systems and remote monitoring of voltage, current, power, temperature and fault status.
Can it be used for telecom infrastructure?
Yes. The 48V input and pure sine output make it suitable for large telecom sites and data centers. Contact our OEM team for telecom-specific configurations and certifications.
How is it installed?
The SP6000W is a fixed installation unit. It requires a 48V battery bank, proper DC cabling (sized for 135A+), a fused disconnect, and adequate ventilation. Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or solar installer.
Do you offer OEM Branding
Yes. We support custom logo, housing color, socket type, voltage, communication protocol (RS485 / CAN), packaging and private model numbers. We work with EPC contractors and system integrators. Contact our OEM team for MOQ and pricing.

"We tested four inverter brands before choosing ZentroVolt. The pure sine output was the cleanest on the oscilloscope, and the OEM customization let us launch under our own brand in 30 days."
